My therapeutic style is that of eclectic training. It includes a contemporary psychodynamic perspectives and cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness, insight-oriented and solution-focused therapy. My goal is to help you identify the sources of your dissatisfaction and work with you to improve your situation. While we can’t change the circumstances of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve the challenges in your current life. My practice is centered around breaking down the barriers that impede on life success, and learning real and practical strategies to combat future difficulties.
Within the security of the therapeutic relationship, you will learn how to let go of patterns and defenses that inhibit intimacy, and practice developing skills that lead to healthy and meaningful relationships.
Regardless of what brings you into therapy, my primary goal is to support you in growing and changing in ways that will help you get the most out of your life. I offer clients authentication, warmth, support, compassion, and humor with the goal of developing a secure relationship. I am also direct, but engaging, and believe that good therapy should be challenging, rewarding, and even pleasant!
